We hope that you find our web site interesting and informative and that it gives you a feel for the special character of our school. It provides our community with ongoing information about happenings in our vibrant and diverse school.

Port Ahuriri School is a state contributing school, catering for children from year 1 to 6. 

Our vision is:

We are a signatory to the International Code for the Pastoral Care of International Students and we provide year 6 to 9 Montessori education.

Our school is zoned for enrolments. For automatic entry you must live in our school zone. Please see the section Important Details for a link to our map. For those living outside our zone, please contact the school as there maybe places available through our ‘out of zone’ ballot process. The process for this can be explained on contact.

We have an open door policy here at Port Ahuriri, and we encourage all members of our community to be involved in educating our children. We pride ourselves on getting to know your child(ren) really well and catering for their learning and emotional needs through our school values.

We are a "no parent donations" school, providing all stationary, local trips and outings free of charge.
